How This Works

Developed with extensive consultation and feedback, the delivery model, topics and outcomes of this program are designed to have maximum impact and enjoyment for participants from start to finish.

Commitment

Each of your module topics requires:

Weekly
1-2 hours a week: Dedicate a small amount of time to engage with learning materials in the 4-5 weeks prior to each workshop.

Workshops (Quarterly)
2 days per quarter: Attend a two-day workshop for each of the four modules. We provide the schedule upfront, so you can plan accordingly.

Community

You will spend the year with 20-30 other participants as you interact and learn from your peers working closely together throughout the year; bringing a bucket load of energy, experience, ideas and support to the table.

Building relationships, industry connections and friendships long after you graduate from your program.

Interactive Workshops

Ever left a fantastic workshop and struggled to implement everything you learned? It happens to everyone, so don't feel too bad. It won't be happening with this program. Too much is at stake.

Join experienced facilitators, guest speakers, subject experts and qualified assessors as you interact and develop with large groups of participants just like you. 

You will return on day two to slow down, reflect, share ideas, talk through challenges and develop plans that suit your specific needs.

Coaching and Accountability

What happens back at work is all that counts. We know that life and work will do their best to distract you from developing these skills.

We'll be there, supporting you to make change happen with plans, calls, emails and visits to coach you through your individual journey.

We won't be letting you go that easy! Join us and your peers online, or join working groups to receive more support between the workshops.

Take it as a chance to focus on your projects, or just turn up to say hello. You will find these sessions are great at keeping you engaged.

What Is Inside The Program

Scala’s innovative holistic design process means the following Units of Competency are delivered through five engaging topics. Facilitated weekly over 12 months to clarify your understanding and awareness, provide relevant content and assessments, and enable on-the-job practice to build your capability and confidence.

Personality types, buying behaviours and how to use this skill to improve your ability to communicate with others! With the foundations sorted, we will then spend time developing your complaint-handling skills and ensuring you have the confidence to turn any upset customer around.

Module 3

Sales

Develop some business awareness to further enhance your understanding of why it's important to develop good product knowledge and feel more confident in servicing customers' every need to produce more profit.

Module 4

Safety + Security

Feel more competent and confident as it relates to their Duty of Care at work and how to respond to different situations! ​Unpack the elements that would comprise professionalism and unpack the individual motivating drivers that can inspire each of us to perform at our very best EVERY day.

Professionalism

With a focus on maximising exposure to current workplace opportunities; and building key strategies, knowledge and awareness of the practical, legal and ethical attributes needed by professional workers in the modern workplace.
